Lam Cheuk Woon (LCW) was one of the early disciples of Jow Hip (周协). Malaysia and Singapore Jow Ga has roots to this lineage but due to Sim San Loke Hup’s (禅山六合) founder- Lee Kun’s (李昆) influence from 5 other types of kungfu, the forms in Malaysia and Singapore are vastly different from the rest of Jow Ga. That said some Jow Ga forms are still practiced in those 2 countries as well. They have now spread to Thailand recently as well from this lineage.

Despite that Sim San identifies with their roots as Jow Ga and still keeps active contact with LCW. It is heartening to see the new generation taking over in the contact with Hong Kong.

LCW is also the source of Lau Sheng (刘胜) , Leong Weng Chao (梁永秋) and Sai Kung (西贡) Jow ga in Hong Kong.
