佛山的九江英勇堂，是很多周家名人的原地。陈桂仔师傅是其中一位出色的周家弟子。当年他到香港在渔业工会任教，但过后在香港不幸患病过世。当年因为大陆内战与文革，造成过世的陈师傅得埋在长洲。

在开放后终于把他迁回老乡安葬。陈炳流师傅收了不少苦。听他说，吕柱石师傅帮了他们不少。为了周协师祖之女，周梅师太的一句话而开始可开馆授徒的陈炳流师傅一路走来不容易。

This is the most emotional interview we have done so far. The journey that Sifu Chan went through is an incredible story of commitment and determination. His father Sifu Chan Kwai Chai was a famous person of Jowga. He was the first coach at the Fishery Assn in Kennedy Town. After he passed on, Sizou Jow Biu took over.

That period was also torn with civil war and the cultural revolution in China. They were so poor and went through a lot. Just because of a commitment to the late Jow Hip’s daughter, Jow Mui Si tai, Sifu Chan Peng Lau undertook the arduous task to set up a troupe.
